Was there a point? Was there something we needed to know about the characters before we watched the movie? This is Firefly - The Movie, right? Did I need to watch that show to get what was going on in the movie? I think I did. It was an entertaining movie, that's it. Nothing phenominal, nothing mind blowing, nothing to bust-a-gut to, just entertaining.  I just noticed, while getting that link, that it was the brainchild of Nora and Delia Ephron, the creators of You've Got Mail (one of my all-time favourites), and in retrospect, you sure can tell.
